What does the SeaStar cost ? If you buy a kit the cost is $109,000. US dollars. You can pay us that in payments if you like. If you complete the airplane yourself you can plan on spending a total of about $281,000.00 if you use a '0' since IRAN Walter turbine engine and new Avia propeller blades with basic Garmin IFR avionics.( see Prices.) If you have assistance in building the airplane by a professional building center like the one we have at the factory, your turn key airplane would cost you $397,000.00. Using a IO540J2BD Lycoming engine is about the same price.

How fast will the SeaStar go? Cruise speed at 18000 to 20000 feet is 260 mph with the Walter 601 turbine engine. With the 350 hp Lycoming you can figure a cruise speed of about 210 mph. A good rule of thumb is 1000 feet equals 1% of cruise speed. This way you can figure how fast the airplane is at lower and higher altitude. This formula works very well with most airplanes flying above 8000 feet.

How far does the SeaStar go? With standard tanks of 160 gallons the Turbine SeaStar will fly for about 4 hours with reserve. This is at a high cruise setting. Long range tanks will extend that up to 7 hours depending on the size of tank you require. Don't forget that you can always pull the power back and go slower, consequently saving fuel and extending range.

How high can you fly the SeaStar? Up to 23000 feet with the Turbine engine and 25000 feet with the Lycoming.

Do you have a training center? Yes, we have instructors to teach you how to fly the SeaStar.

Can I get insurance ? Yes, we have a factory training program. One of the largest insurance company's in the United States is working with us to insure each SeaStar.
